GURPS, D&D Next & Roll20 come into a bar.

I've been delving massively into the latest update from roll20 and after making my own variant of a Character Sheet for my campaign (D&D Next is somewhat easy to handle), I decided to give GURPS a go....

To be honest, I've been doing so great with macros personally that I'm still not 100% convinced that the new Character Sheets actually serve any purpose. That said, I'm a sucker for this stuff and I just HAD to give it a try, so I did: Mentor + Hours...oh yea...
Here are a couple shots from my revamp D&D Next Sheet first

For my GURPS version, I decided to make one of these sucky videos everyone hate to watch, just to give a small presentation because I actually think it's kinda cool.
Be warned though: sounds sucks, quality sucks, my accent sucks, everything sucks!
The sheet's nifty though, even in it's early draft version :)

Anyway, the video
And some shots with a bit better quality

That's gonna keep me busy for a bit...

As a note, thanks for the sheet design ideas and bases sheet design by David L. Hawkins (@The Story Teller)& Aaron C. Meadows over on roll20. I still have no idea what I'm doing or what is CSS and whatnot, but I'm a copy/paste tweaking god, so thanks again!

  1. Hey this looks great! Any plans to put this up with the other community shared sheets? (I'm not a mentor so I don't know how that works.)

  2. Hey,
I just made a post about the final version so you should check that one as well, there are screenshots for each tabs and some explanation as well.

As for community shared, well, that's up to roll20. I did submit the sheet today but I never used GITHUB in my life before and I'm not 100% how the process works on their side. I had submitted my other D&D Next sheet too but they refused it because they don't take duplicate.

That said, other mentors can just go on the GITHUB for roll20 and see my pull proposal. There are the files in there so afterwards it's just a matter of copy/pasting into your own custom stuff in your campaign options.

For non mentors, sadly, nothing can be done unless roll20 accepts it.
